During the Islamophobia awareness month, FPM along with other partners from Islington council, Islington Faith Forum, Islington Police and City & Islington College organised the Islington together against hate crime event yesterday at the Mosque, excellent speakers including Jeremy Corbyn MP – Islington North, Cllr Andy Hull, Catherine Roper, The Islington Police Commander, Rev. Jennifer Potter – IFF chairman, Robbie Young – Vice president of NUS, Colin Adams – chair Islington hate crime forum, Rabbi Mendy Korer, Nabil from Alfrida Society, Nouha Bin Ali from FPM and Kasia Zagrodniczek – Campaign Coordinator of East European Resource Centre. The hall was packed with more than 170 wonderful diverse audience from all faiths and communities came together to show unity against hate crime. The chairman of the mosque Mohammed Kozbar welcomed everybody and promised to organise similar events in the future.
