Finsbury Park Mosque and The NHS National Diabetes Prevention Programme will be holding a community testing event outside Finsbury Park Mosque on Friday 11th November from 12pm to 4pm.
The aim of these testing events is to increase case-finding in the community of people at higher risk of developing diabetes and refer them to primary care for follow up. Patients not registered with a GP will be supported to identify and register with a local GP.
The community testing event will be delivered using a mobile diabetes unit (van) to identify people at risk of diabetes and to refer them to the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP).
