Great to host our fifth Street Iftar event this Ramadan in partnership with Islamic Relief and Muslim Welfare House and supported by Islington Council and Islington Faiths Forum, we celebrated our diversity, our unity as Londoners when more than two thousand people from different faiths and communities joined us at the Street Iftar outside our Mosque where we shared Iftar together, fantastic atmosphere and excellent speeches by prominent guests including faith and community leaders, young people, politicians including Catherine West MP and a message from our local MP Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of Islington Council, the Islington Mayor, Senior police officer from Islington Police, two London Assembly members representing the Green Party and the Liberal Democrats Party.
