During Islamophobia Awareness Month and in partnership with Islington Council, we organised a walk in the Gillespie Park to learn about “Islam and Nature” where around 30 members from the local communities gathered outside the Mosque and walked together with Britain first professionally qualified Muslim tour guide Br Abdulmalik Tailor and Jo Corrall, the Islington Nature Conservation Officer talking about how we all take part to protect the environment and the planet, the tour ended at the Ecology Centre where tea, coffee and biscuits were provided.
