Finsbury Park Mosque, in partnership with the National Autistic Society, held the first ever “Autism Hour” at a mosque.
A huge amount of interest shown by the families and people attended. The adjustments made to welcome people on the Autism Spectrum were well received and appreciated.
Alhamdulillah, everyone enjoyed the event and there were smiles all around.
We hope this event will be the launch pad to seeing Autism Hours being held in Mosques and other places of worship all over the country.
We would like to thank all our guests for coming to the autism hour from all over London and also the Mayor of Islington Cllr Rakhia Ismail for supporting this event. We look forward to similar events in the future Inshaallah.
