Yesterday in solidarity with the victims of the Christchurch terrorist attacks on the two Mosques, our local MP Jeremy Corbyn, the Leader of the council Richard Watts and many councillors visited the Mosque during Friday prayers to give condolences and express solidarity and support to the Muslim community and the message was clear, we are all united together against bigotry, racism and Islamophobia.
Also, hundreds of us from all faiths and communities were outside Finsbury Park Mosque for the vigil gathering to stand in solidarity with our Muslim sisters and brothers in New Zealand. You can watch the video link below of Jeremy Corbyn visit to the Mosque |
