This year’s Open Day carries even greater importance. In light of recent challenges—including far-right riots and hostile demonstrations targeting minority groups, events like these are a peaceful and powerful way to bring communities together, celebrate unity, and stand up to hate through understanding, dialogue and kindness.
What to Expect on the Day:
- Guided tours of the Mosque
- Interactive exhibitions
- Short educational films
- Henna and Arabic-style name calligraphy
- FREE goodie bags and message of kindness
- Special stalls from Islington Council and Islington Police
- Light refreshments and warm conversations
