We would like to invite our local communities to our Repair CafΓ© event in Finsbury Park Mosque this Saturday 3rd December from 12pm-4pm. Repair CafΓ© is free event where residents can fix broken small, portable items as well as to learn how do this themselves including electrical, laptops, textile or bicycle repair.
The idea behind this event is to prevent waste and save money. It is to encourage participants to keep on using items they have rather than purchase new. Itβs good for your pocket and good for the environment by repairing and re-using instead of throwing things away.
