Great to host the Street Iftar again in partnership with Islamic Relief and Muslim Welfare House and supported by Islington Council and Islington Faiths Forum after 2 years of cancellation because of the Pandemic , we celebrated our diversity as Londoners when more than one thousand and five hundred people from different faiths and communities joined us at the Street Iftar outside our Mosque where we shared Iftar together, fantastic atmosphere and excellent speeches by prominent guests including faith and community leaders, young people, politicians including the two local MPs Jeremy Corbyn and Emily Thornberry, senior police officers, Councillors and representatives from the 3 organisers.
